At the Special Collections Centre we are always on the look out for keen individuals to help us out at events or assist with exhibition installation, while gaining invaluable experience. And while we’re talking about volunteers we’d like to take this opportunity to introduce Alice, one of our volunteers, who is currently clocking up volunteer hours towards her Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award.
As well as providing support and creative juices during our Family Fun events Alice now comes in once a week after school to help us with research, preparation and lots more. This week she has had a WordPress introduction and so from now on look out for posts from her too. We are excited to have another voice on the blog.
